Results from the event on Saturday at Tweedbank are HERE
The icy conditions underfoot were an additional challenge for this urban event but most seemed to cope well. It was pleasing to see some new faces joining in and we hope you’ll return over the next few months as we visit some of our more rural locations – next up is Lanton, near Jedburgh on January 19th.
PS from Robin:
if you thought Tweedbank was icy on Saturday, the TAY event at Pitmedden next day could have been held on skates. Parking on forest roads impossible, so entailed a 2.5km/210m walk from Abernethy to the start – everyone well warmed up for mass start. Even paths in amogst the trees were icy, so rather than follow paths/tracks, they were best avoided. Good event, and another excellent lunch to follow!
