Thanks for the good turnout on Boxing Day.
The format was:
1. A 30 minute Score event with a penalty of 1 point per second late. 250 points available.
2. An IOF control description test. 100 points available.
3. A jigsaw of Wilton Park with 125 points for the winner, reducing by 5 points per finisher.
Unfortunately there’s been a slight change in the results due to me forgetting to multiply the results of Part 2 x 10. The top 3 are still the same but Karen gets promoted into 1st place. Well done Karen (who was originally 2nd). Douglas is now 2nd (originally 3rd) and James relegated from 1st to 3rd. Maybe James could share his prize with Douglas ??
I’ve also allowed “underpass” for Part 2 (tunnel). The long IOF description mentions a tunnel under a road or railway i.e. an underpass. For info there’s a separate symbol for a “building pass through”.
Well done to Rob for organising the Hall, then locking the door behind him, forgetting his watch (for a Score event !) and making up some imaginative but very wrong answers to Part 2. Thanks also to Jim for doing the timekeeping.
