The club championships produced another 1-2-3 for the Maxwell family (if we exclude JT running n/c) but this time it was Eileen who crossed the line first, despite collecting one more control than she needed to. Continue reading
2010 Club Championships and AGM
Date: Saturday 20 February 2010.
Venue: Bowanhill, Teviothead.
Organisers: Tullie family.
Parking etc: Meet at Teviothead Village Hall by 11.30am for a 12 noon mass start up the hill somewhere.
This will be a closed event for club members only. Please email John Tullie (john “at” bowanhill.demon.co.uk) if you intend competing. This ensures we print sufficient maps and also gives him time to massage the seeding. Bribes are very welcome but will have absolutely no effect on the handicaps !
The usual social/AGM will take place in Teviothead Hall after the race.

15 runners had a good blast round Wilton Park in Hawick – all armed with a grid of 25 dates (historical ones not the edible ones) with the aim of finding 5 in a row as quickly as possible. Continue reading
