On a very wet, wild and windy day a brave 19 souls left the relative shelter of John’s landrover to battle with the elements on the Binks and Bowanhill. Some found the wind too strong to make any headway and retired, others manfully completed their courses and lived to tell the tale !

Douglas Henderson was first back, exchanging his 2010 achievement trophy for the 2011 club championship trophy. Bill Bruce was only a few seconds behind, and James Purves sprinted in for 3rd after being last on Boxing Day.

Members then enjoyed hot soup and goodies before the AGM. The next highlight for the club is our SoSOL at Lanton on 20 February.
