A local event at Lanton, near Jedburgh, with 3 courses –

Yellow (1.6 Km – 7 Controls);
Orange (3.1 Km – 10 Controls); and
Green (4.4 Km – 12 Controls)

Lanton is at its best in winter when the undergrowth is low, and there is a good network of paths and rides to help (or confuse) navigation!

Enter Lanton Wood at NT 651222 of the back road from Jedburgh to Bonjedward. The access track we are using is also the road to the house at Williescrook so please do not park on the that track. Preferred parking areas are shown on the map extract below. Please park carefully and look at the ground before you venture too far off the forest tracks.

Lanton will be muddy or frosty (or both) on 18th February. The Yellow Course follows tracks but even these can be very muddy. On some legs on the Orange and Green courses, use of the paths and tracks may well be a better bet than the direct route

Entry fees:  Juniors £2 (members £1.50),  Seniors £4 (members £3.50),  Families a maximum of £7.50.  Fees include one map per entry and free electronic chip hire if required.

Start times are from 1pm to 2pm – Courses close at 3:30pm
