Results are now available for Roxburgh Reivers’ South of Scotland Orienteering League event at the Eildon Hills. After a slightly dismal start to the day the sun broke through mid-morning and we were treated to a glorious spring day. 145 competitors, the highest at one of our SoSols for quite a while, enjoyed the challenging courses and it was good to see some of the locals who have attended our Come and Try It days coming along too. The String Course proved popular, with over 20 kids trying it out, although Granny Hewat found the muddy bits tricky.
Only one SI unit failed but unfortunately for Robin it was the furthest away control. Hopefully he appreciates the fact that the Controller asked him to move it from it’s original position which was even more awkward to get to!
See the Results page for detailed results and split times. Final SoSOL standings available from the ESOA website.
