CompassSport Finals – Final Info
CompassSport Finals 2012
Entries are now closed for the CompassSport Finals but EOD will be available for White, Yellow and the 4km Contour-only courses.
Camping is available adjacent to the venue at a cost of £2.50 per unit. No need to book, just turn up on Saturday, late afternoon onwards, and someone will collect your campsite fee before Sunday morning. The Final Information will include a map to help you find the field.

Several mentions of how much better the weather was compared to the last event at Selkirk in February this year orienteering is certainly more enjoyable on dry sunny days. Some controls were more difficult to see, as they were fixed to stakes at ground level, but we feel that secure fixing is necessary in heavily used public areas to reduce the risk of vandalism to the expensive timing boxes.
It is good to see families coming to these events, and confidence will grow the more times you come! Well done all.
