The next local event is at Lanton on Saturday 19th January.  Details are via the link on the right-hand side of this page but note that Registration is from 12 noon until 12:15.  In addition to the normal Yellow and Orange courses the event incorporates the club championships, and will be followed by the AGM.

Congratulations to all the competitors who won a Buff for being first on their course. Also worth mentioning that the fastest lady on the run-in also receives one.  We’re emailing club captains to arrange to send out those that weren’t collected on the day.

If anyone didn’t retrieve their Brown Part 1 map from the marquee on Sunday could they email their name and address to enquiries@roxburghreivers.org.uk and one will be dried out and posted.

Entries are now closed for the CompassSport Finals but EOD will be available for White, Yellow and the 4km Contour-only courses.

Camping is available adjacent to the venue at a cost of £2.50 per unit.  No need to book, just turn up on Saturday, late afternoon onwards, and someone will collect your campsite fee before Sunday morning.  The Final Information will include a map to help you find the field.

We’re chuffed to bits to announce that we’ve persuaded the designer of some very memorable 6-Day string courses out of retirement for the CompassSport Cup Final. Do you remember the spiders webs at Bowhill in 1991, the Haggis people in 1997 at Breadalbane, or the working models at Dallaschyle in 1999 when lots of WOC competitors went round the string course ?

2012 will see the return of the Haggis people, 15 years older and just a little wiser !
