This year’s East of Scotland Orienteering Association (ESOA) AGM will take place at The Steading, near Hillend Ski Centre, on Tuesday 25 Oct.

Club memberships for 2004 are now due for club members who are members of Roxburgh Reivers and the Scottish Orienteering Association only. Please send a cheque (£8 per adult, £3 per child, £13 per family) to John Tullie at:

Andrew Hewat has agreed to judge an armchair planning competition, open to all club members. The idea is to plan two courses (Brown and Orange) from the comfort of your own armchair (or desk) using just a blank map of Strathmashie, the venue for Days 2 and 4 of Lochaber 2001.

If you weren’t at the AGM and would like to enter, then please contact Robin Sloan (email: robin_sloan@roseisle.demon.co.uk), who will then send out a copy of the rules and a couple of blank maps.

The closing date for entries is Febraury 28 2002.

The club AGM will take place at Tweedbank Barns Centre on Thursday 24 January 2002 at 7:30pm.
