SUMMARY:Eyemouth urban SOUL and UKUL
DESCRIPTION:New map of Eyemouth by Yotam Bertrand (FVO).  Both a UKUL and SOUL. \nEyemouth:  A fishing town on the east coast which is a popular tourist spot due to it’s sandy beach\, busy harbour\, ice cream shops and fish shops/restaurants.  Expect a mix of terrain from back alleyways in the old town to newer developments with lots of paths. The river Eye disects the town and will provide some interesting route choices. \nPart of a weekend of orienteering on the east coast – Berwick on Saturday 6/6/26 organised by NATO.  Link to their webpage:  HERE \nParking\, Registration\, Toilets:  At Eyemouth High School\, Gunsgreenhill\, Eyemouth TD14 5LZ.  We have a games hall for Registration\, leaving kit\, toilets\, showers etc. \nGetting there by public transport:  It’s a Sunday so there are less options than other days but Border Buses route 235 from Berwick to Eyemouth (ultimately to St Abbs) goes 5 times that day and takes about 17 minutes.  https://www.bordersbuses.co.uk/ \nEmbargo:  The whole of Eyemouth is out of bounds on the morning of the race apart from the main roads.  If your accomodation is in the town please stick to the main roads when making your way to the High School. \nTiming:  Registration open at 11:00am.  Starts from 12:00 – 14:00.  We won’t be allocating start times but may ask you to stick to your chosen start block to avoid queues at the Start. \nEntries: via SiEntries open on 6/4/26.  Pre-entries close at 23:59hrs on Sunday 31/5/26. Late or on-the-day entries subject to map availability.  Late entries cause a lot of work so we encourage you to enter by 31/5. Limited SIAC hire £2.50 (£60 if lost)\, free hire of older dibber (£30 if lost).  RR members should have received an entry discount code from Lindsey. \n\n\n\n\n	Entry by 31/5/26From 1/6/26\n\n\n\n\n	Senior BOF member£15£20\n\n\n	Senior SOA member£16£21\n\n\n	Senior non-member *£17£22\n\n\n	Junior/Student BOF member£5£7\n\n\n	Junior/Student SOA member£6£8\n\n\n	Junior/Student BOF non-member *£7£9\n\n\n\n\n\n Please note a change to insurance cover: As of 1/1/26 participants who are not members of either British Orienteering or Scottish Orienteering are not now covered by their respective public liability insurance.
