Come and Try night orienteering, follow in the footsteps of Lauren from the BBC Adventure Show (being shown on Thursday 27/1/22).  Come with friends or family, or go solo – it’s up to you.  We could pair up solo’s who would like a bit of company.

Date:  Friday 4 February 2022

Parking: In the Busy Bees car park behind the Borders General Hospital.  Map HERE

Time:  6 – 6:30pm

Course:  A short course of about 1.8km but this is measured in a straight line so you will run/walk a little further navigating via streets and paths.  There is a mix of streets and woodland. Trail running shoes are ideal but normal trainers are also OK.  You can go round on your own or with family/friends.

Entry:  Entry is free but you need to pre-enter by bedtime on Thursday 3 February.  The entry form includes a section on Covid which you are asked to read and acknowledge.  Entry form HERE

Requirements:  Under 16’s must be accompanied on their course by an adult.  Bring a torch, preferable a head torch to leave your hands free to handle the map and timing chip.
