The snow deterred the masses but Roxburgh Reivers are made of sterner material and a good turnout enjoyed a taste of the white stuff at Bowhill on 7 February.
Winning for the second year in succession was Karen Maxwell and normally this would say “closely followed by…” – but Karen showed everyone a very clean pair of heels this year and was back and changed before most of the others were finished. Well done to Karen, showing another huge improvement on last year.
We then moved to the courtyard where soup was provided by Meg and Caroline, and we enjoyed a pleasant bit of banter before Judy called us all to order for the AGM.
Judy presented Douglas Tullie with the trophy for “Best Junior”, Karen Maxwell with the Club Championship, and John Tullie received the Achievement award.
