Starts from 1.00 to 2.00pm. Yellow, Orange and Green courses
Entry fees: Seniors £3.50, Juniors £1.50, Non-members +50p. Families a maximum of £8.
We’re starting the 2020 Sprint Series at Timpendean (Lanton), near Jedburgh (to be confirmed)
Parking/Registration: Access the forest from Timpendean on the A698 Hawick to Kelso road at map reference NT630230. (this road is gated, please leave the gate as you find it – either open or closed). Parking will be just inside the forest at Map reference NT637223 (similar to our December 2018 event)
Courses: One sprint-distance course of about Orange standard, so suitable for most abilities. Plus a Yellow course for beginners.
Clothing: shorts will be OK as there is virtually no undergrowth in the competition area.
Senior members £3, Juniors £1.50.
Non members: £3.50 and £2.
Scoring: 6 events, with best 4 scores counting in the series. The winner of each race will get 30 points, 29 for 2nd and so on. (If there are more than 30 people everyone below 30th place will receive 1 point).
The 2nd Sprint will be at Abbotsford (to be confirmed).

There is likely to be some undergrowth at this time of year so NO SHORTS for this race.
